In Moraines of Wallowa Lake: Legacy of Vanishing Landscapes noted geologist and Oregon Book Award winner Ellen Morris Bishop and renowned western landscape photographer David Jensen reveal the nature of this geologic treasure. The unique book documents the geologic, biologic and historic values of the Wallowa Lake Moraines System, and is designed to educate and promote conservation of this special place enjoyed by visitors and residents alike.
The Wallowa Land Trust is working with landowners, community organizations and policy makers toward permanent protection of this landscape to maintain working lands, provide public access & protect open space. All photographs in the book were generously donated to the Trust. Many images are available as fine art prints directly from the photographers at their respective websites.
