Miscellaneous Information

Miscellaneous Information:

Eric comes to Wallowa Land Trust from Southern Oregon, where he lived in the Siskiyou-Rogue River National Forest caretaking a grandfathered homestead and thinning oak forests in the Applegate Valley. Prior to caretaking, he was the development coordinator for a Wallowa County nonprofit and earned his MFA in Creative Writing from University of Idaho, which awarded him the opportunity to live and write at Taylor Ranch in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Through these experiences, he has developed an appreciation for the legacies of working lands, landowners, and land use in the American West.
